THANK  YOU

As I retire as principal and teacher, I may be leaving my position, but all of the memories will never leave me.  Thank you to the students for the memorable week and the golf package gift.  I will definitely  use that this summer.  Thank you also for the cards.  I will certainly miss all of you.

CLOSING CHAPEL

The closing chapel is this Friday, June 4 at 11:00 a.m.  As usual, parents are welcome to attend.

GRADUATING CLASS

Our 8^th graders will receive their diplomas this Sunday after the 9:00 a.m. service.  Congratulations and God’s blessings on your endeavors.

HALF DAYS

Both Thursday and Friday are half days.  Students will be dismissed at noon on both days  Parents must provide transportation home on both days.

SPORTS PHYSICALS

If your child plans to participate in soccer this fall, make sure you get his/her sports physical over the summer.  Physicals must be on file before your child can attend practice.  Forms are available from the office.

REGISTRATION IN AUGUST

Parents, please mark Thursday, August 26 on your calendar.  This is the day of registration for the 2010-2011 school year.  All families will receive a home visit from Miss Rudick or Mr. Gledhill in early August.  The first day of school is Tuesday, September 7.

PLANET ZOOM

Grace’s vacation Bible school will be held on June 20^th-24^th from  6:00 – 8:45 p.m.  We encourage students to attend, and to bring friends and neighbors – especially those who don’t know Jesus- along for a great time of activities, food, and learning about God’s great gift of salvation for all!!!  We will be comparing the Gospel in microcosm to an imaginary beehive.  Please get others, as well as yourselves, registered for a “fun” and blessed time during one short week this summer.  You may return the attached pre-registration form to the office or to the usher’s desk in the church narthex.

YOUTH CHOIR

The Youth choir sings this Sunday during the worship service.  Members should report at 8:45 a.m.

GROCERY BAG

Have your child(ren) bring a grocery bag to school to take home their treasures the last day of school.
