MISSION
All the Lutheran schools in Michigan support the same mission for the month of February. The mission is called “Hearts for Jesus”. Children’s Christian Concern Society is the selected program. CCCS helps impoverished children receive hope for their future through Christian education. CCCS continues to reach out to the hearts of over 25,000 kids around the world. Envelopes are attached.
FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS
We wish a happy birthday to Lucas Weiss on February 2; David Appold on February 18; Lachlan Murray on February 22. Please wish these students a happy birthday this month.
LIBRARY WORKER
Library worker tomorrow is Cari Tomczak.
TACO DAY
Taco Day is this Friday. Price remains the same at $2.25. Money must be in by tomorrow.
VALENTINES DAY
Our students will go bowling on Valentines Day. We will need a few drivers. We will leave our building by 12:30 and will return about 2:30. Please let the teacher know or call the school office, if you would be willing to drive.
NO SCHOOL
There is no school on Monday, February 6. Our teachers will be attending a Professional Development Day.
BASKETBALL WORKERS
If your child plays in any sport, you are automatically a member of our Booster Club. On Monday, February 6 and Monday, February 13 our Trinity/Grace “A” teams will play here at Grace. We need at least 4 workers for each night. Please contact Craig Harrison or call the school office, if you can work on one of these nights.
BURGER KING
Please remember to ask to have your receipts put into our box at Auburn Burger King. Our technology department receives a percent of all of our receipts each month. Thank you.
OLD COMPUTER PARTS
If you have any used computers or computer parts, feel free to drop items off in the school office. We will be setting up a pick-up for these items.
MEXICAN FIESTA ‘N CINEMA
Mark your calendar for the Mexican Fiesta ‘n Cinema Saturday, March 3rd in the Grace gym. Join us for fellowship, a great meal and a movie. We will enjoy the meal from 5-7 p.m., followed by a family movie at 7:00p.m. Refreshments (including a popcorn bar) will be available during the movie. Students will be given tickets to sell. Tickets will be $8.00 and must be purchased in advance for the dinner. Take-outs will be available with advance tickets. Proceeds go to Curriculum for school books.
