M.O.S.T. finishes clinic days on a great note!

It has been an absolutely incredible last couple of clinic days. We have made so many friends and so many memories and we just aren't ready to leave yet. Yesterday we gave a blind man a different form of sight by giving him a cane. It was such a beautiful moment that we were all able to take part in. We all touched the man and prayed with him. He told the translators that we gave him hope and that he could feel God shining through every single one of us. It brought most of us to tears. Today, we had to say goodbye to all of our wonderful translators and helpers in Amatitlan. They gave us friendship bracelets to remember them by. We are all feeling extremely blessed today, and are looking forward to sharing our experiences with you all. Tomorrow we have a tour day in Antigua and then travel home Saturday morning. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS. Dios es bueno (God is good!!!!)

M.O.S.T. sets up clinic Lake Amatitlan!

We had a very wonderful, successful day in our new location, Lake Amatitlan. We served 137 people!!! We are here for two nights and will have three clinic days. We then travel back to Jocotenango for Thursday & Friday night. We are staying upstairs of where the clinic is set up which is very nice. We don't have to travel each morning to our destination. Today was a tough day as we are weaker than we first started. Exhaustion and cultural changes have set in. We will persevere however! The people here are just as wonderful as the others, we are very blessed! Pray for smooth clinic days and pray for our health as we finish the week. Muchas gracias (Thank you so much!!)  [Sorry, the pictures couldn't upload for this post!]

M.O.S.T. last clinic day in Jocotenango!

Today was our last clinic day in Jocotenango. We served 156 people! It was very sad to leave the wonderful friends we have made in this town. Most of us were moved to tears at the kind words they had for us. We truly left our mark and have improved the ministry tremendously! We will travel to Amatitlan tomorrow morning to set up our clinic there. It is about 2 hours away. Pray for safe travels and a smooth start to our clinic in a new place. We appreciate everyone's prayers, God is shining through us!! Somos bendecidos (We are blessed!!)

M.O.S.T. Team worships in Guatemala!

Today we attended a church service in Santiago Zamora and Pastor Schilke was able to preach the sermon and serve communion. They do not have apermanent Pastor to serve them communion so this was a tremendous honor!!! A translator translated Pastor's sermon so that everyone could understand. The ladies at the church prepared us lunch and we were privileged to hear the children play the Marimba (Chris even participated!!) We then set up the clinic for three hours and served another 79 people!!! It was a very wonderful day!!! Pray for another blessed clinic day tomorrow here in Jocotenango. Vaya en paz (Go in peace!)

PS: We had Domino's pizza for dinner! HAHA
